Suzuki Marine Honored by Industry Customer Satisfaction Award

 

 (September 2012 - Brea, CA) - American Suzuki Motor Corporation was once again honored by the National Marine Manufactures Association (NMMA) with the 2012 Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award in the Outboard Engines category. The NMMA Marine Industry CSI program recognizes companies that actively measure customer satisfaction to pursue continuous improvement. To receive award recognition, companies must achieve and maintain an independently measured standard of excellence of 90-percent or better over the past year. Customer satisfaction information was provided by 50,000 consumers who purchased a new boat or engine between July 2011 and June 2012.

"This is the seventh CSI award in a row for Suzuki and this industry recognition is important to every member of the Suzuki family," said Larry Vandiver, Suzuki Marine Marketing Director. "Customer satisfaction has always been a top priority at Suzuki — and it takes quality products, great people and excellent customer service to deliver on this promise. Our strong CSI scores tell us that we're on the right track and will make us work even harder to ensure that owning a Suzuki outboard is a positive experience," added Vandiver.

The NMMA launched its CSI program in 2001 to provide boat and engine manufacturers with an independently measured, cost-effective tool to help improve customer satisfaction in the marine industry.
