Frequently Asked Questions
What is DOHC and why is it important for me and my outboard motor?
DOHC stands for “Dual Over Head Camshaft” cylinder head design. This design uses two separate camshafts, one for the intake and the other for the exhaust valves. Also, there are no rocker arms to adjust. This efficient head design, in conjunction with 4 valves per cylinder, enables Suzuki engineers to get the maximum power and economy from a small displacement engine.
