DF15/9.9 Overview

Suzuki offers 4-stroke power in 15 and 9.9 horsepower engines, ideal for a wide range of small boats. Suzuki engineers designed these compact 4-stroke engines to respond smoothly throughout the power curve, without uneven throttle response. Available in either electric or manual start with tiller handle or remote steering, the DF15 and the DF9.9 are packed with advanced features like forged aluminum connecting rods, a one-piece forged crankshaft, a low oil pressure warning system and much more.

Perfect for fishing and exploring lakes and lagoons, ideal for a day of snorkeling, Suzuki makes a line of powerful smaller outboards with the same kind of 4-stroke innovation as our larger models. These dynamic machines are designed to power a wide range of small boats including inflatables, dinghies, sailboats, tenders, pontoons and aluminum fishing boats. They’re also designed to take a pounding with plenty of torque to push a boatload.

DF15 and DF 9.9

The larger of our smaller outboards incorporate advanced 4-stroke features such as electronic ignition, forged aluminum connecting rods, a durable one-piece crankshaft and a low oil pressure warning system. Amazing torque and acceleration are delivered by 302 cc of displacement. Available in either electric or manual start with tiller handle or remote steering.

Easy on fuel and the environment

All four of our small outboards will get you 50% farther on a tank of gas than a comparable 2-stroke. They also meet 2006 EPA exhaust emissions standards and have earned a 3-star rating for Ultra Low Emissions by the California Air Resources Board (CARB).
